Prize Program — Official Rules

These Official Rules govern participation in the Wickt Prize Program (the “Program”). By submitting predictions in the Wickt mobile or web application, participants agree to these rules. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

1. Sponsor

The Program is sponsored by Wickt(the “Sponsor”), operator of the Wickt mobile and web application. Contact: support@wickt.in.

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of India who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
• Employees, contractors, officers, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible.
• Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
• Participants must have a valid Wickt account with accurate identifying information.

3. How to Enter

To enter, download the Wickt app, create an account, purchase the current Season Pass, and submit predictions on scheduled cricket matches during the active entry period. The Season Pass is the program’s entry fee and unlocks participation in the season’s leaderboard and prize eligibility. Once entered, winners are determined solely by skill— the accuracy of the participant’s predictions relative to actual match outcomes. Buying multiple Season Passes or any other in-app purchase does not improve a participant’s chances of winning; only leaderboard position decides prizes.

4. Entry Period

Each prize cycle runs alongside a specific cricket tournament or series, with start and end dates published in the Wickt app on the Prizes screen. Entries submitted outside the active period are not eligible for that cycle’s prizes.

5. Winner Selection

• Winners are determined by leaderboard position at the close of each entry period. Leaderboard position reflects total points earned from correct predictions (a measure of skill, not chance).
• Prize tiers (e.g., Winner, Top 3, Top 10, Top 25, Top 50) and the specific prizes for each tier are disclosed on the Prizes screen in the Wickt app before the start of each entry period.
• Ties are broken by the earliest time the tied participants reached their current points total. If still tied, Sponsor reserves the right to award duplicate prizes or apply an alternative fair tiebreaker at its discretion.

6. Prizes

• Prizes consist solely of non-cash items: physical merchandise, partner vouchers, digital gift cards, and similar branded goods. No cash alternatives are offered and no monetary value is redeemable.
• Prize details, images, and approximate retail value are disclosed in-app prior to each entry period.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
• If a specific prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Winner Notification and Claim

• Winners will be notified via in-app notification and the email address on file within 7 business days after the end of each entry period.
• Winners must respond with a valid shipping address and any requested identification within 14 days of notification. Failure to respond forfeits the prize; Sponsor may redistribute to the next eligible participant.
• Sponsor will ship physical prizes to Indian addresses only. Digital prizes may be delivered by email.

8. Taxes and Fees

Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees arising from prize receipt, including reporting prize value under applicable Indian tax law. Sponsor will withhold tax as required by law and may require winners to furnish PAN or other identification before prize release.

9. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify any participant who:

• Uses bots, scripts, or automated entry methods.
• Operates more than one account, shares accounts, or otherwise gains unfair advantage.
• Provides false identifying information.
• Violates Wickt’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

10. Privacy

Participant data submitted in connection with the Program is handled under Wickt’s Privacy Policy. Winner names may be displayed in-app on leaderboards and in winner announcements. By participating, winners consent to the use of their first name and leaderboard username in such announcements without additional compensation.

11. Publicity

Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s consent for Sponsor to use their username, city, and non-identifying profile image for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation.

12. Compliance

The Program is structured as a skill-based contest and is designed to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Public Gambling Act, 1867, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Online Gaming Act, 2025. The Program does not involve real-money wagering, betting, or games of chance. In-app points are game currency with no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.

13. Limitation of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, lost or late entries, internet outages, app unavailability, or errors in data processing beyond its reasonable control. Participants agree to release Sponsor from any claim arising out of participation in the Program or acceptance of a prize, except where prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the Program shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Participants waive the right to class-action proceedings against Sponsor to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Modifications

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program (or any entry period) at any time, for any reason, with notice provided in-app or on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

16. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any mobile platform or store. Participants are providing information to Wickt and not to Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
